 Outbreak of Malaria likely to hit Residents of Zendeli

Residents of Zindeli, a suburb in the Wa Municipality of the Upper West Region, are complaining of mosquitoe bites due to blockage of water by irrigation farming in the area.

Speaking to Sungmaale FM news desk, the residents said the farmers who have gardens in the area between Zendeli and Mangu, have used fertiliser bags loaded with  sand to block the runway of the water that flows from Kambali through the big gutter to Mangu area.

The residents also added that these farmers started such act for about two years now, making the residents of zendeli uncomfortable at mostly from 5pm onwards such that they cannot sit outside to cook nor stand the stench in the area.
