Wa Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo (IV) presents - Eidul Adha celebration 2021
Eidul Adha 2021 is to be celebrated in a strong Wala Traditional Sense. This will be under the auspices of His Majesty the Overlord (Wa Naa).
This event is organized under the sessions: which would include:
1. The event will begin with the procession of the Overlord from the palace to the Eid Prayer ground,would be accompanied by Lonhi drums in the morning of 20th July, 2021.
2. Early in the morning of 21st July, 2021, all will gather around the Wa Naa in the palace for the drummers, (lonhi and tumpandeme)to beat their drums and say the praises of the Overlord. The origin and history of the Wala Kingdom will be said in this aspect. They will also recount all the past chiefs of Wa and their achievements, it is a lovely part of our tradition.
3. There would be a local dance with the lonhi drums from 3:30 pm - 5:45 pm at the forecourt of the palace on the 21st July, 2021.
All are cordially invited to come and witness the rich culture of Waali Nabiihi and their tradition.
