The Presiding member for Wa Municipal assembly, Hon. Karim Topie who is also the assembly member for Nakori - Chansa electoral area has on today 20th July,2020 paid a courtesy call on the staff of Sungmaale 90.5 FM.

The Assembly member accompanied by his colleague Assembly member, Hon. Francis Soorinye, assembly member for Dandafuuro electoral area says he is very glad and so proud of sungmaale FM because the Station is playing a greater role in community development in the upper west region and urged them to keep it up.
Hon. Karim Topie called on Sungmaale FM staff to always engage him and other assembly members in every developmental activities/programs so that they can also aid to boost the development of the Wa Municipal and the Upper West region at large.
The Presiding Member tasked the radio station to find the most worrying problem in the municipality and bring it to him to also forward and discuss it with the Assembly to see the way forward and to find solution to that problem.
Welcoming the PM, the General Manager for Sungmaale FM thanked him for the visit and also expressed his happiness for the wonderful visit. Baba Jamal says it is a surprise because most leaders don't have the habit of visiting the media houses, but since the PM has done that it is a a very good step so he should continue with that because the media houses sometimes wants to have a one on one interaction with the Presiding Member.
