date of birth: 20th November in Obuasi Ashanti region,
He is from Upper West region of Ghana.
He attended Roman Catholic JHS in Dunkwa and SHS at Islamic secondary school in year 2000 in Wa.
he started music at a very tender age when he use to sing songs of Kojo Antwi, Daddy Lumna, Nana Acheampong, etc and later joineded Kidafest and few talented kids at Dunkwa, Obuasi & Wa.
He met a friend called Cosby and they formed a group called Toyota in 2001
They performed on the same platform with VVIP, Sydney, Lord Kenya and other great artistes across Ghana.
they got a Producer in 2002 who happened to be Cosby's uncle called Mr. Fosu and they later released their first single "Obaayi" which was a Nation wide hit on the 'WO SE SEN' album. They went solo a year later
Raphius Amigos has six albums to his credit,with four solo albums and two group or collaboration albums to his credit.
