Irate Community members lynched suspected robber to death.

Press release by the upper wet regional police revealed that,on Sunday,June 7,2020 at about 2:00AM, two unidentified men suspected to be of Fulani extraction,armed with single barrel guns attacked Karim Yahaya, a Fulani herdsman at Hus cottage at Charia near Wa and attempted to rustle his cattle.
The police says a fierce struggle ensued between them and they inflicted wounds on his head,chin and other parts of his body.

According to the press statement, an alarm was raised by the wife of the victim Marian Muyer and the community members lynched one of the whilst the other managed to escape. Body of the deceased has been deposited at the regional hospital mortuary-Wa for preservation and autopsy.

And the upper west regional police command he therefore mounted a search for the accomplice and the general public is informed contact the station Officer, Regional CID-Wa to assist in the identification of the body and also to inform the police of the hideout of the perpetrators.

The Regional Police commander DCOP Mr.Francis Aboagye Nyarko entreats the public to always trust the process of of the law and desist from acts that contradict the rule of law.
