U/W : WA WEST ROADS CARRIED AWAY BY HEAVY RAINFALL

There was a downpour between 5:00AM to 6:00AM today, Wednesday 20th May,2020 which left the Wa West constituency in surprise as they can't cross over to the Wa Municipality and other Districts.

All the major roads in the Wa west district are all in a deplorable state due to the heavy rainfall, so the people Wicheaw and other villages in the Wa west district cannot go to Wa which is the regional capital and even other districts and villages.

Roads like the Wicheauw-Dorimon road, Wicheauw-Ga road and Wicheauw - Lassie roads are all carried away. Information reaching Royal Media indicates that, the main road between Tavaari and Baleofiili is turned into dam and only people that know how to swim can cross.

The Wa west district is therefore appealing to the government, stakeholders and the general public to come to their aid.

Lassia Tuolu - Wechaiu road, the bridge at the river side is washed away.
