Muslims all over the world are preparing to bring the month of Rahmadan to an end either tomorrow Saturday or Sunday in a unique manner in this time of covid-19 pandemic.
Sungmaale FM and Concern Muslim Youth understands the hardship some people are going through in this Ramadan and wonder how they will also celebrant the Eid-alfitr festival.
Today, Friday, 22nd May 2020 which also marks the 29th day of Rahmadan, Sungmaale FM in collaboration with Concern Muslim Youth donated some items to some the Wa Prison service.
The team felt to be important as the Islamic religion instructed Muslim to offer Zakaat ( alms) to the needy, therefore donated three bags of rice, two bottles of hand washing soap, a Veronica bucket, some clothes and amount of Gh¢500.00 to the prisons service to celebrate the Eid-alfitr and to use the Veronica bucket and hand washing soap to help fight corona virus.
Whiles Sungmaale FM prays for the successful end of Ramadan and wishes all Muslims a Happy Eid-alfitr, they also urge Muslims all over the world to earnestly pray for the mercy of Allah against the Covid-19 pandemic.
